![]() You could also run the cheaper Kaeya And Rosaria Reverse Melt Build, consisting of only four-star characters. Ganyu is able to run any of her freeze builds such as the expensive Venti and Mona versions or she can go with a budget Reverse Melt such as the Bowless Archer build. Since Hu Tao and Yoimiya‘s side will focus on single target, this should encourage you to build the second half with an AOE focused build. Even premium five-star supports such as Zhongli, Kazuha and Venti are all possible options. Besides that, you have a wide variety of options to build your second team with all strong four-star supports being available, such as Bennett, Xiangling, Fischl, and Sucrose. Your second team can’t rely on Xingqiu as a Vaporize enabler either. With that said, you shouldn’t expect to build a second Abyss team that relies on an Anemo healer, such as our Ayaka Freeze Build. There’s a reason Sayu had an increased chance in both Hu Tao and Yoimiya banners, as she specifically enables this version of the team. Currently, there’s only two Anemo healers, the five-star Jean, from the original cast, or the more accessible four-star Sayu, introduced in 2.0. This build focuses on building a team using the concept of shredding Pyro resistance, before switching to Xingqiu and establishing Hydro aura. Second Abyss Team Setup to Use With a Hu Tao & Yoimiya Dual DPS Buildįor this team to work, you need an Anemo healer to use Viridescent Venerer. Not only that but with the introduction of enemies who counter shields in version 2.5 it has become a necessity to have a working iteration of every build that doesn’t rely on shields. While it can output more damage in theory, it lacks any form of healing, and is extremely vulnerable to Corrosion. It would allow the use of a more offensive Anemo units, such as Kazuha or Sucrose. This team could use a pyro shield support such as Thoma, Yanfei, or Xinyan, to remove the need for a healer. Between Hu Tao‘s melee excellency, and Yoimiya‘s superior range, you have a versatile team to tackle most situations. However, in certain situations where enemies are scattered around, and you have no way to group them, Yoimiya‘s range comes in handy. While Yoimiya is treated as a secondary DPS, to fill downtime. Hu Tao is the main damage dealer on the team, because she can amplify all her charged attacks through a Vaporize reaction. We can double down on such a duration with Yoimiya as a second DPS, Vaporizing her attacks as well. When Hu Tao finishes her rotation though, there’s still a duration remaining on Xingqiu‘s Burst (6 seconds on Xingqiu‘s C0, and 9 seconds on C2). Afterwards, Xingqiu uses his Elemental Skill, activates Burst, and then switch to Hu Tao to Reverse Vaporize her charged attacks. First Yoimiya applies Pyro, then Sayu Swirls the Pyro aura, to get the Viridescent Venerer debuff on enemies. While Hu Tao consumes a lot of stamina to perform her charged attacks, Yoimiya on the other hand spams Normal Attacks giving a chance for stamina to recover. Hu Tao And Yoimiya Dual DPS Build Guideīoth Hu Tao and Yoimiya are Pyro characters, with focus on single-target damage. I’ll go through what Weapons to use, what Artifacts to upgrade and which companions to pick up. In this Guide I’ll explain just how to build Dual DPS Hu Tao and Yoimiya to conquer the open world, event challenges, and Spiral Abyss. So if this sounds like your kind of playstyle, this is worth checking out. However, it enables an aggressive playstyle, with a higher damage ceiling, and better debuffs on enemies. Such a build is much more expensive Resin-wise, as you have to build two characters, both on field and full DPS. All while maintaining the Hydro aura from Xingqiu to Vaporize both Hu Tao and Yoimiya Attacks. ![]() It removes the classic Cryo support, and Hydro healer roles from Hu Tao Melt Build Guide, and adds second Pyro, and an Anemo healer for Pyro resistance shred from Viridescent Venerer. This build is meant to transform the Burst playstyle of Hu Tao into full sustained damage by adding Yoimiya as a second damage dealer during Hu Tao‘s downtime. In this Genshin Impact Guide I’m going to be showing you my Dual DPS Build for Hu Tao and Yoimiya.
